Following his high school education, he completed a Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.) from Bethel Bible College, Punalur; a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) from Southern Asia Bible College, Bangalore; and a Master of Theology (M.Th.) from St. Peter’s Pontifical Institute, Bangalore. Since 1986, he has been actively involved in pastoral ministry and served as a part-time Bible teacher at Peniel Bible Seminary from 1995 to 2025. He has also periodically served as a part-time faculty member at Bethel Bible College since 1998, contributing to teaching and ministry training as needed over the years.

He has served the church as a Section Presbyter for 7 years, Northern Region Director for 2 years, Executive Committee Member for 2 years, and District Secretary for 8 years. He is currently serving as the Assistant Superintendent of the Assemblies of God Malayalam District.

A life fully dedicated for an effective Christian ministry. Completed B.A., M.Div. from Zion University of Theology, Tamil Nadu, B.D. from Bethany Academy, Vennikkulam and now planning to do Master in Theology. He has served as Section Sunday School Director, Central Region Sunday school Director, Section Secretary, SIAG Youth Secretary, A. G. Centenary celebration publicity convener and Section Presbyter(). During the tenure as a Presbyter, deeply involved in charitable activities during the COVID-19 pandemic. At present, serves as the Secretary of AGMDC. Has been in pastoral ministry for the past 25 years.

After completing his studies at Bethel Bible College, he pursued further theological education at Grace Bible College. He then became actively involved in evangelistic ministry. During his period of service, he began his leadership journey as the Sunday School Convener for the Kanjiramkulam Section in the Southern Region. He later served as the District Sunday School Secretary for six years. He also served as the Treasurer for eleven years of MDC. As a church minister, he began his ministry at Mukkola in the Vizhinjam Section, where he faithfully served for 20 years. Following this, he ministered in several churches including Konniyoor, Kavadithalaykkal, Vilappil, Plamoodu, Kodungavila, and Samadhanaparam. At present, he is serving as the Pastor at Manjakkode in the Kanjiramkulam Section. Presently he served as the Treasurer of the Malayalam District.

Pastor Babu Varghese has dedicated his life to pastoral ministry in the Malayalam District for over 48 years. He has been instrumental in establishing several churches and church buildings in the Northern Region. He also served as the Pastor of AG Kuwait. In addition, he demonstrated strong leadership by serving as the President of Christ’s Ambassadors and as a Presbyter for fourteen years, as well as the Director of the Northern Region for eight years. He graduated in theology from Grace Bible College, Delhi. At present, he serves as a Committee Member of the Malayalam District.
